They have various different types of popcorn, ranging from classic flavors like cheese and caramel to Japan-limited ones like green tea and green hot shishito pepper. One of the most popular flavors at their Omotesando shop is truffle fromage porcini.

Just one bite and the pleasant fragrance and taste of the truffles and porcini spreads through your mouth. The slightly salty taste of the white cheddar cheese is amazing too. These are the perfect adult snacks to enjoy along with a nice glass of wine.

2. A Famous Longstanding Shop from Chicago! Garrett Popcorn Shops

Established in Chicago in 1949, the popcorn specialty shop Garrett Popcorn Shops arrived in Japan in 2013 as well, and has had scores of people lined up outside its doors ever since. If you want to avoid the crowds but still enjoy some of their amazing popcorn, you may consider visiting them on a weekday evening instead.

In the Harajuku store, not only standard items such as vanilla (right) and red velvet (left) are available, but also exclusive to Japan flavors like matcha green tea too. Their mini cupcakes, with a diameter measuring just five centimeters, make for great gifts too.
