Spot 5. Nadeshiko Zushi

Food is an indispensable part of a sightseeing tour. Without exception, Akihabara has many spots to taste delicious Japanese food.

Ginny: I've heard that Akihabara has many unique restaurants not found anywhere else.

Ginny heard of an unusual sushi restaurant and decided to visit it at the end of the tour.

The name of the restaurant is Nadeshiko Zushi. It is a sushi restaurant fully managed by female professional sushi chefs, a sight rarely seen in Japan given that most sushi chefs are male.

The interior has the characteristic cleanness of a sushi restaurant. An immaculate atmosphere hangs in the air.

How does the sushi taste?

Ginny: It's delicious! The workers are all women, so making conversation is easy, which made me feel at ease.

Lastly we asked Ginny what she thought of the today's stroll through Akihabara.

Ginny: The television program was the incentive, but after walking around I discovered many delightful spots that were not featured in the program. There are many places I have yet to explore, so you can be sure I will be back again!

Aside from the shops featured in this article, many unique spots and services are available in Akihabara. Should you be interested, please take a trip down to Akihabara when you come to Japan.
