Just the thought of visiting Tokyo Disney Resort is enough to make anyone happy. Adventures await you at Tokyo Disneyland, or you can enjoy the exotic and romantic scenery at Tokyo DisneySea.

Today we'll be introducing the seven areas of Tokyo DisneySea and what makes each of them special.

Upon entering, the symbolic AquaSphere can be seen. It's a great spot for taking photos.

Past the AquaSphere, you can see Hotel MiraCosta and the gate to the park. Just thinking about what awaits inside is exciting.

1. Mediterranean Harbor

Beyond the hotel and the gate is Mediterranean Harbor. The shows held on the water surface are very worth seeing.

The theme of the area is a romantic port town. You can travel around the canal on the "Venetian Gondolas". There are many souvenir shops here as well.

2. Mysterious Island

Mysterious Island is a secret base created by the genius scientist Captain Nemo. His beloved submarine is very impressive. Here you can enjoy attractions like "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", which will take you on a small submarine ride at the bottom of the ocean.

3. Mermaid Lagoon

Mermaid Lagoon is the underwater kingdom home to Ariel and friends from "The Little Mermaid".

You will be immersed in the fantasy-like world of the movie. There are many attractions including the musical "King Triton's Concert" by Ariel and her friends.

4. Arabian Coast

Arabian Coast is surrounded in magical scenery. You can enjoy the world of "Aladdin" by flying through the sky on "Jasmine's Flying Carpets" or watching a magic show by a malicious magician and Genie.

5. Lost River Delta

Here at Lost River Delta you can experience the adventures of Indiana Jones® at "Indiana Jones® Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull". The theme of the area is a lost ancient civilization. The area also offers many restaurant choices.

6. Port Discovery

At Port Discovery, you can circle around on the water surface at "Aquatopia", as well as enjoy the water scenery on other attractions.

7. American Waterfront

The American Waterfront area represents the Cape Cod of New York and Massachusetts. Here you can enjoy the views of a nostalgic port town.

There are also many fancy restaurants in this area.

As for attractions, some of the most popular are the "Tower of Terror", which lets you in on a mysterious experience at a closed hotel, and "Turtle Talk", where children can enjoy an entertaining chat with Crush, the sea turtle.

Another favorite is "Big Band Beat", where you can enjoy genuine jazz and singing as well as watch Mickey Mouse hit some drums.

In Conclusion

Tokyo DisneySea is a 15 minute walk from JR Maihama station. Or you can ride the Disney Resort Line which circles around Tokyo Disney Resort. From the "Resort Gateway Station" by JR Maihama station, you will reach "Tokyo DisneySea Station" in about 9 minutes.

From Tokyo Disneyland to Tokyo DisneySea is a 20-minute walk or 7 minutes via the Disney Resort Line. The Disney Resort Line has a flat fare of 260 yen for adults and 130 yen for children.
