"Kiki & Lala Cafe" answers the needs of all the girls who love sweet stuffs. At first it was supposed to be open till the end of May, but it was extended to July 7th for the fans wished so.

July 7th is also known as the Star Festival(1*) in Japan. Isn't it a perfect day for Kiki & Lala sprinkled with stars?

(1*)The Star Festival(七夕/たなばた), or "Evening of the seventh". It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year.

New Starry Menus for Hot Summer

The new menus which started from early June are all inspired from the Star Festival.

■ Lala's homemade cold soup -Summer ver. gazpacho- 980 yen

Did you know Lala was good at cooking soup? She prepared healthy and appetizing gazpacho soup with plenty of vegetables for us. It's just the right dish for summer! You can have the thyme herb served together as well.

■Golden Milky way Pasta -with Quinoa and Soybean Salad- 1,380 yen

I recommend this milky way arrabiata pasta For those who want to eat fully. Generally arrabiata sauce is pretty hot, but this dish is served in mild taste. Plenty of beets and carrots in shape of stars. There's also salad with beans and quinoa. Not only cute, it is tasty and good four your health.

■Kiki & Lala's Orange French Toast -Ginger flavored sauce anglaise- 1,380 yen

French toast from "Kiki & Lala Cafe"! Soft french toast with whipped cream of pink and blue served with oranges. It is surprising that a whole orange is used in one dish. Decorated with starry sugars and berries.

■Kiki's Star Festival Matcha Parfeit 980 yen

For Japanese-sweet lovers. Sweetened bean paste and dumplings are stuffed in this parfeit. Matcha ice cream and mousse are a little bitter, for those who don't prefer "too much sweets"! Of course we "MATCHA" recommend this sweet too!

■Cloud Kiki ☆ Latte (ICED) /Lala ☆ Latte (ICED) 650 yen each

Iced latte with whipped cloudy cream! Staffs said that some visitors try to keep the face of Kiki & Lala remained until they finish the lower layers of this drink.

You can get one from the two coasters if you ask for drinks.

Starry ver. of the Interior

At the entrance there's a photo booth where you can talke pictures with Kiki & Lala. Can you see the cute constellations shining on the background?。

The staff Ms.Sanda is holding the star cane in her hands. You can become another Lala with this!? Ask the staff when borrowing the cane.

There are wishing ornaments for the Star Festival next to the photo booth. It says "I wish I can cook my soup better by Lala". How sweet is it!

Please check the other sweet features of Kiki & Lala on your own. It's time-limited to 7th of July, so hurry up!

After that, "My Melody Cafe" will open here at July 18th. Don't forget to check the information coming on!
