1. Download This App Before Leaving Your Country


"Japan Connected-free Wi-Fi" is available on iOS and Android devices. You can download it from AppStore and GooglePlay.

2. Configure Your Settings When You Arrive at the Airport


When you arrive at a Japanese airport, connect to a free Wi-Fi access point which is available with this application. The airport and access points you can use are as follows:

Start the application after connecting to an access point. You will only have to register to use the internet the first time round - and you can register with either your email address, name, gender, and age, or just use your Facebook login.

You only need to connect to an access point to register. You can register even if your phone is on airplane mode.

3. Connect to a Free Wi-Fi Spot!

Once the connection is completed, you can use the internet freely. While the maximum connection time is three hours, you can reconnect again afterwards. Basically, there are no limitations so long as you're in the wi-fi area.
