Coisof is a soft serve shop in Ginza who is extremely famous for its all black soft serve ice cream the used to serve when they were located in Harajuku. Now they reintroduced it to their new shop alongside a June 2019 limited rainy season ice cream!

Coisof used to be located in the famous Takeshita Street in Harajuku. The shop became Instagram famous for its colorful decoration and the pure black soft serve ice cream. They have since located to Ginza with a unique but completely different menu.

For June 2019 they reintroduce the Goth Soft Black (600 yen) back into the menu which was their Harajuku bestseller! Rich black sesame is mixed with cocoa powder and charcoal to give you an Instagram worth bitter-sweet experience. Coisof is actually a sister store to the famous sesame ice cream shop Gomaya Kuki so you can be sure that this is a very rich, flavorful black sesame soft serve.

If you prefer something slightly milder, you can also order the Goth Soft Mix (600 yen). A mixture of the bitter black soft serve and cone as well as mild and creamy milk soft serve.

Alongside the reintroduction of the black soft serve, they offer a very special ice cream to celebrate the rainy season. The Ame Iru Soft, which loosely translates to "it"s raining", is only available during June 2019. It is a milk flavored soft serve in the famous black cone, drizzled with blueberry syrup as well as blue and purple candy to represent the colors of rain and hydrangeas.
