Time-Limited Tokyo Ghoul Restaurant In Tokyo Celebrates The New Movie
Limited-time Tokyo Ghoul restaurant with smoking and bloody delights opens in Tokyo Ginza to celebrate the new live-action movie Tokyo Ghoul S
July 19th, 2019 was a big movie release day in Japan. Featuring also the new Tokyo Ghoul S, which is the prequel to the 2017 live-action adaptation of the mangas.
If you want to get in the right ghoulish mood for the new movie, or simply dive into the world of the famous mangas, don't miss out on the time-limited ghoul restaurant in Ginza!
The concept is "Blood and Roses". 40000 blood red roses cover the walls and floor. There is even a bathtub overflowing with roses.
The chef who created the special menu for the restaurant is Hideo Yamamoto, head chef of the creative french restaurant Air. His menu even includes delicacies that exude smoke when you bite into them.
As to expect from a Tokyo Ghoul restaurant, the menu is not for people who are sensitive. The full course includes a soft-shell turtle blood and tomato meringue, three varieties of fois gras, horse meat carpaccio, sweetbread meunière, roasted venison leg and roasted challans duck.
The dessert is called "World of Death: Red Fruit and Rose".
There is a lychee and rose welcome drink and Red wine is served in a normal glass or a glass that is designed to let you imagine drinking blood like a ghoul.
The location of the restaurant is secret. Masked waiters will guide you to the place and serve you as well. The masks are a special design made to match the restaurant theme.
The special experience was supposed to be only available from July 5th until August 4th, 2019 but it has been extended to August 18th due to its huge popularity.
