The popular cheese tart producer PABLO is joining the chestnut flavored sweet treats with its October 2019 flavor of the month.

The Chestnut and Blueberry Mont Blanc Cheese Tart (2000 yen for a 15cm tart) offers an unusual combination. The delicious cheese tart base is topped with a layer of fresh blueberry jam, whipped cream, and a thick marron mont blanc cream made from real chestnuts.

The decoration of glazed chestnuts and blueberries add additional visual appeal to the cake as well as giving it some texture. The blueberries give the dense chestnut flavor a refreshing twist.

If you love chestnuts but don't want to commit to the big tart, you can also get the "Rum Flavored Adult Mont Blanc Mini Cheese Tart" (278 yen). The base is a mini cheese tart and it is topped with rum-infused chestnut cream. The rum gives the mont blanc a more "adult taste".

To complete the autumn line-up, PABLO will also release a "Kagoshima Sweet Potato Cheese Tart" (278 yen). Instead of chestnut, this tart is topped with sweet potato mont blanc cream.

All the cheese tarts mentioned will be available until October 31st, 2019.
