Korakuen Milk And White Chocolate Ramen - Unique Valentine's Day Offer
In 2020, chocolate ramen seems to be the special dish to eat for Valentine's Day. The ramen chain Korakuen offers milk and chocolate ramen topped with chashu and laced with cocoa oil.
Korakuen is a restaurant chain that offers ramen and other Chinese cuisines such as gyoza (fried dumplings) and fried rice.
In 2019, they offered Valentine's Day chocolate ramen for the first time and it was so popular that it makes a comeback this year alongside a white chocolate version.
The milk chocolate ramen is a mixture of soy sauce ramen and cocoa oil. It is also topped with chashu (roast pork) and a piece of chocolate that is meant to slowly melt into the broth.
The white chocolate ramen has the same topping but the base is salt ramen. It also has cream added to go with the white chocolate.
These ramen dishes cost 640 yen each and are available from January 30 until March 11, 2020 at Korakuen stores Japan-wide.
