MUJI Releases Reusable 100% Cotton Face Mask
MUJI Japan has started selling reusable 100% cotton face masks in stores and online. Designed with a traditional surgical style, these handy masks protect from UV rays, germs, and viruses for at least thirty washes.
UNIQLO recently released its AIRism Mask, and popular variety store MUJI also started selling reusable masks, made of 100% cotton.
The MUJI face mask features a traditional surgical mask style. Just like many other reusable masks in Japan, it consists of three layers cutting out UV rays, viruses, and germs. It offers secure protection for at least thirty washes.
The masks are only available in white, but as they are 100% cotton, it might be fun to dye or customize the masks with fabric dye.
MUJI's cotton masks are available in sets of two for 999 yen after tax. Each customer is allowed to purchase up to three packs, which totals up to six masks.
As of late June 2020, the masks are only available in Japan at MUJI's retail stores and online. The online store notes that it may take up to two weeks until the masks ship, so it is worth checking out your nearest store directly.
