Gozaisho Ropeway

The Gozaisho Ropeway connects Mt. Gozaisho in the Suzuka Mountains of Mie Prefecture Prefecture with the Yunoyama Onsen hot spring town at its base. Enjoy a 12-minute aerial stroll along the 2,161-meter-long cable car. From the gondola, you can see the seasonal scenery and towering, unusual rock formations. Accessible from the ropeway's terminus, the mountain park has a paved promenade where anyone can stroll around casually, enjoying the scenery and discovering plants that cannot be found at the base of the mountain. Enjoy the natural beauty of Mt. Gozaisho throughout the year, with a variety of plants, including rhododendrons like the Japanese azalea, in spring, red dragonflies in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and frost-covered trees, skiing, and sledding in winter.
