Yunosato Public Spa

Located in the back streets of the Unzen Onsen shopping district, it is a public bath facility with the oldest history in Unzen Onsen. The name of the hot spring is ``Dankyu Buro'', but ``Dankyu'' means ``rakkyo'', and in 1930 people began bathing by pouring hot water into large barrels used for pickling rakkyō. Apparently that's how it got its name. Nowadays, of course, it is no longer a barrel bathtub, but as a result of that, it has an oval shape and is a deep bathtub.
