Ooya Campsite

150 minutes from Osaka and Kobe. Wakasugi Kogen Ooya Campsite is the "best campsite in Japan for viewing the starry sky." The attraction is the full starry sky! Yabu City was recognized by the Ministry of the Environment as the "number one place to see the stars shining brightest" (summer 2004). On weekends, we operate a special night lift to hold a "starry sky hike." Please experience stargazing at the summit at night! Inside the site, there are "trampolines" and "sledding" that are very popular with children. In the summer, water activities such as "Water Mountain" and "Sledding Pocha" where you jump into the pool on a sled are also open! You can also enjoy summer skiing. The summer slope is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Lodges, log houses, and trailer houses are available for accommodation all year round.
