Airports in Iwate

Iwate is a large prefecture located in the northeastern side of Honshu, in the Tohoku region. A center of political power during the 11th-12th centuries, Hiraizumi still retains traces of its Heian past, while the natural landscape and Pacific coastline of this prefecture are simply stunning, despite the devastation caused by the March 2011 tsunami.
