Sharing the attractions of Okayama City with the world, including sightseeing information, experience spots, and model courses!

Okayama City is home to the striking Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden, one of Japan’s three greatest gardens. JR West Okayama Station is a vital hub for transportation and provides a great base for your travels to Kansai, Kyushu, Shikoku, San'in, and Hiroshima. In the western part of Okayama City lies Kibiji, there are Kibitsujinja shrine, Saijo Inari, one of Japan's top three Inari shrines, and Tsukuriyama Kofun, Japan’s largest tomb to be got into. Around the Kibiji Cycling Road, there are many bicycle rental services available. In the western part of Okayama City, Inujima Island, a small island in the Seto Inland Sea, has been attracting people's attention. It is one of the venues for the Setouchi International Art Festival held every three years. In addition to enjoying artwork and the peaceful scenery of the Setouchi region, interacting with the local islanders is also highlights. Fruits grown in the mild climate are exceptional, and can be enjoyed year-round: white peaches in summer, grapes such as pione and shine muscat in summer and fall, pears and persimmons in fall, and strawberries in winter. Fruit parfaits made with fruits from Okayama Prefecture can be enjoyed at cafes and hotels in the city throughout the year. Fish and seaweed from the Seto Inland Sea, which is rich in minerals due to the mild climate, are also special.
