Shionoe Hot Spring Village is located in the central part of Kagawa Prefecture, at the southernmost tip of Takamatsu City, about 25 km south of the center, about 40 minutes by car, and about 10 minutes from Takamatsu Airport. It is also selected as one of the 100 selections. The Koto River, which flows through the Shionoe hot spring village, is blessed with a beautiful natural environment. region. In addition, near the top of Otaki Okawa Prefectural Natural Park, there is the only virgin beech forest in the prefecture. Across the river from Michi-no-Eki Shionoe, which is located almost in the center of Shionoe Onsen Village, and across the elegant wooden Gyoki Bridge, you will find Gyoki-no-Yu, a drop-in hot spring named after the famous monk Gyoki. It is crowded with roadside stations regardless of the season. In addition, in commemoration of the first anniversary of the merger with Takamatsu City, the "footbath" was established in September 2006, and is provided free of charge to roadside station users and hot spring guests, and has been well received.
