Minamisanriku 311 Memorial

"Minamisanriku 311 Memorial" is a facility to pass on the Great East Japan Earthquake, which opened in October 2022. On March 11, 2011, this is a facility where you can listen to testimonial videos about how the residents of Minamisanriku made decisions and acted, and create an opportunity to think about how to protect your own life. The main content is a learning program that allows you to learn about natural disasters and disaster prevention as “personal matters”. Watch the testimonial videos of the townspeople and think about how you would think and act if you were there, while talking with the people around you.
