Monument commemorating the origin of transportation in the three countries of Japan, Western India, and India

The Monument to Commemorate the Birth of Transportation in the Three Kingdoms of Japan, Mexico, and Mexico is the monument commemorating Don Rodrigo, then Governor of the Philippine Islands, on the morning of September 30, 1609 (Keicho 14) (September 4 in the lunar calendar), at Iwawada Beach (now Tajirihama). The Spanish ship San Francisco, which was carrying the ship, sank, and the people of Iwada worked together to rescue it. The population of Iwada at that time was about 300 people, and more than 300 people were saved.The life in the village was poor, but the kind-hearted people were more concerned about saving their precious kimono than their own. I shared my food with them. After this happened, the three countries began to communicate with each other: Japan, Mexico, and Spain. To commemorate this, a shining white monument was erected on top of the mountain in Iwada, east of Onjuku Town, in 1928.
