guesthouse Suehiroya

Suehiroya was built in 2019 by an American architect, along with local carpenters, who built a miso storehouse in the old merchant town area of ​​Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, with buildings estimated to be over 100 years old. It is a Japanese-Western mixed community space that has been renovated and will open an event space in 2022, and a guest house in 2023. The guest house is exclusively for cyclists and foreigners. Only one group per day can stay overnight. Community spaces are places where people from all walks of life can connect. Local residents and visitors alike can feel free to stop by, chat, and participate in events.
