Shizuoka Sengen Shrine

Shizuoka Sengen Shrine is a shrine that has been worshiped since ancient times as the main shrine of Suruga Province, and is also known as the place where Tokugawa Ieyasu held his coming-of-age ceremony1. This shrine is the collective name for the three shrines of Kamibe Shrine, Asama Shrine, and Otoshimioya Shrine, all of which are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan.
