Akagi Minami Senbonzakura

Akagi Nanmen Senbonzakura, together with the neighboring Miyagi Senbonzakura Forest Park, is a famous cherry blossom spot representing Gunma, with around 1,000 cherry trees in full bloom, and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots." The area is attractive for its authentic cherry blossom tunnel and the beautiful contrast with the rape blossoms. The best time to see it is from early to mid-April each year, and you can also enjoy the illuminations at night. During the cherry blossom festival, food stalls and stage events are held, creating a lively atmosphere.
