Omori Japanese Candle Shop

In Ehime Prefecture, our family has been making Japanese candles for seven generations since the Edo period. Visitors can peek through the glass windows at the father and son silently making candles in the workshop that leads from the dirt floor, and it has become a part of everyday life in the town. This tradition is carefully preserved and passed on to the future so that Japanese candles can continue to gently light up people's lives.
