Shinsakai River Dynasty

The Shinsakaigawa River Embankment is a famous cherry blossom spot that stretches along the Shinsakai River, which flows through Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture, and has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Sightseeing. Approximately 1,000 Somei Yoshino trees bloom, and in spring you can enjoy the spectacular view of the cherry blossom tunnels. The Kakamigahara City Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year, and the lights and food stalls make it lively, and many cherry blossom viewing visitors come to visit. Picture courtesy of AC
