Chatei Jin is a Japanese tea cafe offering an authentic experience of Gyokuro, Matcha, and other premium teas from Yame, Japan. Our teas are exclusively sourced from Nakayama Kichishoen, a historic tea producer established in 1865. We proudly serve Yame Traditional Gyokuro, which has received Japan’s highest tea award for 24 consecutive years. All of our matcha is ceremonial-grade and stone-milled, carefully selected for each item on our menu. Our sweets are completely free of additives. Signature offerings include our freshly kneaded matcha warabi mochi, made to order for exceptional texture, and natural shaved ice using artisanal syrups. We also accommodate halal, vegan, and allergy-friendly requests. The cafe is nestled within a traditional Japanese garden, where guests can enjoy the tranquil sound of flowing water from a tsukubai basin.
