ACAO FOREST (Acao Herb & Rose Garden)

Located in Atami City, ACAO FOREST is a tourist garden with 13 theme gardens spread across a vast site overlooking Sagami Bay. From January to March, about 1,400 cherry trees reach their best viewing season. In particular, from mid-January to mid-February, about 100 Atami cherry trees and a field of rape blossoms bloom in full glory, creating a beautiful landscape with the sea as a backdrop. You can also enjoy about 50 Kawazu cherry trees, about 150 winter cherry trees, Oshima cherry trees, and mountain cherry trees, allowing you to enjoy the cherry blossoms for a long period of time. Inside the garden, there is also the cafe COEDA HOUSE designed by Kengo Kuma, and the HERB WORKSHOP, where you can experience using herbs, so you can enjoy various ways to enjoy the cherry blossoms.
