Nakano Brick Hill is a slope located towards the south exit of JR Nakano Station. As the name suggests, this is a slope made of bricks, and there are more than 30 restaurants in the surrounding area, as well as the department store "Marui" and the theater district "Pocket Square." Various art projects are held on Brick Hill, including the "Art Shutter" project in 2020, in which Teppei Sasakura, known as the "light scene painter," will paint pictures on the shutters of 10 stores.
