Shirakawago Bus Terminal

This new public bus stop for Shirakawa-go began operation on October 1, 2016. This bus terminal is adjacent to the Ogimachi intersection on National Route 156 on the north side of the World Heritage Site, and is convenient for accessing the Wada House, a national treasure, and the Shiroyama Observatory. The bus terminal has a bus waiting area, toilets, and a tourist information center (bus ticket sales office). In addition, a free spot (public wireless LAN) has been set up so that you can access the Internet. (From October 4, 2016) Please note that this terminal is for route buses only. Parking and boarding/disembarking of private cars and buses other than route buses (chartered buses, microbuses, etc.) is not permitted. Please use the village-run Seseragi Park Parking Lot for parking.
