Iruma Manto Festival

The Iruma Manto Festival is a traditional festival held annually in Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture. This year marks the 44th anniversary of the festival, which will be held on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th. The purpose of this festival is to inherit the local culture and traditions and to entertain local residents and tourists. The main event of the festival is a parade in which colorful Manto floats and mikoshi floats parade through the city. With the light of the Manto floats shining in the twilight and the sounds of drums and flutes reverberating, participants come together to liven up the festival. In addition, many stalls offering local specialties and delicious food are set up, entertaining visitors.
