Karyogo Fisheries Naya

Located in a corner of Karyogo Fishing Port, this shop processes and sells fresh fish caught in Kochi Prefecture. They offer sets of red sea bream that can be eaten in a variety of ways, such as dried, simmered, and pickled, as well as single items of overnight dried fish and prosciutto. For their black bonito tataki, they use freshly caught bonito that has been drained of blood in the Tsumoto style to maintain its freshness, and then smoked over lots of straw before grilling it. Inside the store, you'll find a wide variety of processed seafood products lined up, including dried alfonsino and dried dolphin fish with mirin.
