Kochi

Kochi prefecture is located in Shikoku, and is home to a wealth of historical buildings, including Kochi Castle, and is perhaps best known as being the hometown to Ryoma Sakamoto, a prominent figure during the end of the Edo era.

Kochi is also where the popular summer festival known as Yosakoi originated, and here you will find the largest Yosakoi Festival in the nation every summer.
