This spring the enchanting Flower and Light Movement  at Toneri Park will take place from April 11  to April 29  2025. The event promises a captivating spectacle of floral beauty and radiant illuminations, set against the backdrop of the park's stunning landscapes.

The Flower and Light Movement aims to introduce new ways for the public to enjoy parks through floral displays and lighting effects throughout the seasons. This year’s venue, Toneri Park, is renowned for its expansive scenic beauty and will feature a magnificent bloom of nemophila – delicate blue flowers that create a breathtaking sea of color within the park.

Visitors can look forward to a unique experience as the park combines illuminations, soundscapes, and impressive giant nemophila flowers scaled up to 25 times their natural size. The event offers a limited-time, 19-day illumination that transforms Toneri Park into a magical realm of colors and lights.

Deep Blue Flowers (Around the Fountain)

Visitors will be greeted by the TONERI floral art display adorned with blue artificial flowers at the park's entrance. At night, lighting mimicking natural sunlight will enhance the beauty of the area, immersing visitors in a mystical atmosphere.

Blue Cedar Avenue (Metasequoia Stream)

The majestic metasequoia trees will be illuminated in a fantastical blue, inspired by the Japanese name for nemophila. A central stream will feature a blue gradient illumination, resembling a sparkling water flow.

Time of Crimson Skies (Around the Fountain/Stream)
