Umajimura Hometown Center - Makaichotteya

Makaichotteya is the tourist information center for Umaji Village. "Makaichotte" means "Leave it to us" in Tosa dialect, so when it comes to Umaji Village, you can leave it to us. They sell yuzu products and Yanase cedar woodwork, so be sure to stop by to pick out some souvenirs. In addition, photos and documents of the former Yanase Forest Railway are on display on the second floor, and from the window you can see the Gomi Tunnel, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property.
