Nametoko Valley

Nametoko Valley is a valley at the source of the clear Shimanto River, a representative river of Shikoku. There is beautiful nature there, with water that is clear all the way to the bottom of the river. Wild monkeys and deer live in Nametoko Valley, and if you listen carefully, you can hear the sounds of wild animals. In spring, various kinds of flowers bloom. In summer, it is very cool, so you can enjoy playing in the river. In autumn, you can enjoy the autumn leaves. In winter, you can see the frozen waterfall. (Guide required) It is about a 20-minute drive from the nearest station, so we recommend renting a car.
