Wanizuka cherry blossoms

Wanizuka Cherry Blossom is located in Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and is a solitary cherry tree that is approximately 330 years old and sits on top of a raised mound and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 most famous trees. The sight of the flowers in full bloom against the still-snow-covered Mt. Fuji and Mt. Yatsugatake is a beautiful sight that fascinates visitors. The best time to see them is usually from late March to early April. At this time of year, the trees are lit up and you can enjoy a fantastic view that is a little different from the daytime.
