Roukando Cave

This is a limestone cave located in Sumita-cho, Kesen Sumita Town. At the Oku is Amanoiwato Falls, one of Japan's largest cave waterfalls, boasting a drop of 29 meters. The waterfall flows down from a marble cleft in a dome-shaped space 60 meters high and 50 meters in circumference, illuminated in blue light. The amount of water fluctuates greatly depending on the weather (such as the amount of recent rainfall), so it looks different every time you visit. At the Roukando Cave Tourist Center, which serves as the reception area for entering the cave, you can try the famous "waterfall soba" and "waterfall curry."
