Roadside Station Hara Polan

Hara is a Takaharu that was dearly loved by Kenji Miyazawa, and is also famous for appearing as the setting for his work "Kaze no Matasaburo." The local product sales corner sells local specialties such as chicken skirt steak and woodwork, and the attached restaurant serves dishes made with local specialties. Across the national highway to the north is the vast Taneyamagahara Hara Park, which has been equipped with walking paths based on the works of Miyazawa Kenji, making it a great place to enjoy a stroll throughout the four seasons.
