Yamagataya

Located in the center of Kagoshima City, Yamagataya is Kyushu's oldest department store, founded in 1735. Boasting a history of about 300 years, it is affectionately known to locals as "Yamakata." While valuing tradition and trust, it stocks a wide range of products from fashion to food and household goods, and is firmly rooted in the community as the commercial and cultural center of Kagoshima.
