Viva Square Kyoto

Located in Umekoji Park in Kyoto City, Viva Square Kyoto is an outdoor sports experience facility where you can enjoy various activities while moving your body and feeling the seasons. In spring, there is a giant air athletics, in summer, a water play pool, in autumn, Halloween, and in winter, ice skating. Special events and workshops are also held each season. It is very convenient and easy to access, as it is located in front of Umekoji Kyoto-Nishi Station, just one stop from Kyoto Station. There is an aquarium, a railway museum, a hotel, and restaurants nearby, so you can spend a fulfilling day in the park. Spring: There are lots of fun attractions such as giant athletics, paddle boats that children can row by themselves, and trampolines. Summer: You can enjoy water play with water slides, pools, and baby pools. There is also a water battle where you splash water on each other! Autumn: You can play on trampolines and other activities with a Halloween theme. There is also a workshop to make a jack-o'-lantern from a real pumpkin! Winter: You can enjoy Kyoto's only outdoor ice skating. You can enjoy the rink under the clear blue sky during the day, and at night, the rink is illuminated with lights and other beautiful illuminations, so you can play until late into the night. It's a great activity to do after touring the temples and shrines during the day.
