Shibata-cho is famous for cherry blossoms in spring and Funaoka Castle Ruins Park, hydrangeas in summer, chrysanthemums and cluster amaryllis in autumn, and illuminations of light in winter. We aim to create a tourism town with the theme of "Shibata, the city of flowers" where you can enjoy colorful flowers throughout the year. In particular, the cherry blossom festival in spring attracts more than 250,000 tourists from Japan and abroad every year.
