Sacred places such as Kumano Hayatama Taisha, Kumano Hongu Taisha, and Kumano Nachi Taisha, which are manifestations of this religious spirit, and the ancient roads on which people made pilgrimages, were registered as a World Heritage Site in 2004 as ``Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.'' it was done. World heritage sites such as Kumano Hayatama Taisha, Kamikura Shrine, and Asuka Shrine are dotted throughout Shingu City, blending into the daily scenery.
