Mizuyashiki is a small detached inn located on the shores of the largest lake in northern Kyoto. It is a special inn with only four rooms, three facing the lake and one facing the Japanese garden. During crab season in November, you can choose from a variety of courses, including the special "crab kaiseki" and "crab course." Mizuyashiki is the first inn in Japan to collaborate with a local medical institution, and is an inn that "maybe even people who have given up on traveling due to illness or injury can now go on a trip?" Although it is a normal inn, most of the staff have completed advanced life-saving training, so it is a reassuring thing to have when staying there.
