Minamiizu Town
Izu is more beautiful as you go south!

Minamiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, is located at the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula. About 3 hours and 30 minutes by car from Tokyo. It is located about 2 hours and 50 minutes from Tokyo by train. The population is approximately 7,700. About 70% of the town's area is not only forest and wilderness, but also three sides of the town are surrounded by the sea. Irozaki is a scenic spot at the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula. "Yumigahama" boasts the highest rank of AA water quality with white sand and green pine trees. Shimogamo Onsen is a hot spring resort located at the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula. "Hot spring melon" cultivated using hot spring heat. As you can see, Minamiizu Town is a town with plenty of playgrounds, hot springs, and places to eat.
