Nemichi Shrine

The nameless pond in the grounds of Nemichi Shrine, commonly known as "Monet's Pond," is known for its astonishing clarity. The sight of colorful carp swimming leisurely and water lilies swaying on the surface of the water is reminiscent of the famous painting "Water Lilies" by impressionist painter Claude Monet. From the end of May to around August, you can also enjoy the flowers floating on the pond, which shows different beautiful scenes with each season. It is the perfect place to calm your mind and experience the beauty of nature.
