Sek Onsen

Seki Onsen in Joshinetsu Kogen National Park are hot spring resorts that have been open since ancient times. At an altitude of 900m, Seki Onsen is a red hot spring. If you go down the promenade to the deep valley on the left side of the hot spring town, you will find Otaki and Fudo Bridge. The Fudoson on the banks of the waterfall is called Otaki Fudo, and is famous for its benefits for eye diseases. After passing the streets of Seki Onsen, you can hear the sound of a small river on your right. This is the remnant of the Sanzu River, and it is said that in the olden days, women were not allowed to enter the area beyond the river. 　Tsubame Onsen, 3km from here, at an altitude of 1,100m, is a hot spring with white water where rock swallows flock. In addition, if you walk along the right bank from Tsubame Onsen town for about 10 minutes while looking at the mountain surface of Kana on the opposite bank, you can see "Somen Waterfall" on the opposite bank.
