JR Tateyama Station

This station on the Uchibo Line has been selected as one of the top 100 stations in the Kanto region as ``a station with a stylish Spanish-style station building that is suitable for Minamiboso, which has a southern European atmosphere.'' There is a bus terminal at the east exit, where express buses to Tokyo Station and Chiba Station, as well as local buses that travel around the area, depart. The west exit has a southern European-style landscape, and the road that leads to the Hojo coast is known as ``Yuehei-dori'' where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. It opened in 1919 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019.
