Roadside Station Sasagawa Nagare (Yuhi Kaikan)

Roadside Station Sasagawa Nagare (Yuhi Kaikan) was registered as the 11th roadside station in Niigata Prefecture on February 23, 1993 (Heisei 5). There is an overpass that spans National Route 345 from the facility, and it is also attached to Kuwagawa Station on the JR Uetsu Main Line, making it a unique roadside station in Japan. On the first floor, there is a shop and cafe that sells special products from the local area, Yamakita, called Cafe R SUN45. At the 2nd floor restaurant, ``Yuhi Restaurant,'' you can enjoy a menu made with local ingredients. From mid-June to mid-August, we serve natural rock oysters harvested from the local sea.
