Signpost（Yagura）

This stone signpost was built in 1798 under the eaves of a rice cake shop located at the junction of the Tokaido and Yabashi roads, and was meant to guide travelers on the Tokaido to the Yabashi crossing. * The Signpost（Yagura） is drawn on the right corner of Ubagamochiya, a specialty of Kusatsu on ``Tokaido 53 Stations Kusatsu.''
