Cafe In The Knot

On April 20, 2023, a cafe “In The Knot” that pursues a comfortable space will open in Kawaramachi, Kusatsu City! The interior of the store, which has the gentle warmth of wood and the sound of jazz music, is filled with books donated by Kusatsu citizens, creating a library-like space. There are individual seats available, as well as electrical outlets and WiFi. With just one cup of coffee, you can enjoy working on your computer, reading, etc. There are also sofa seats on the terrace where you can relax and enjoy your dog. The lunch menu is centered around Western food, including special hamburgers, homemade roast beef, spiced curry, pasta, and omelet rice! All lunch menus come with free seasonal special Tsuchiyama tea leaves such as Gyokuro and Hojicha. Sweets time from 15:00 to 17:00. In addition to parfaits made with premium Tsuchiyama matcha and special pancakes baked on a griddle, there are many other delicious Shiga prefecture dishes such as Tsuchiyama matcha latte and Tsuchiyama hojicha latte.
