Yamaguchi Foundry Memorial Museum

This is an exhibition facility that conveys the culture of Hofu, where the foundry industry has flourished since ancient times. Inside the retro hall, which is a renovated old folk house, you can experience casting using tin while learning about the history of casting. At the casting experience workshop, you can make small items such as small plates, cups, and accessories. First, you will learn how to make simple castings, and then you will work with hot metal to create your work. Handmade items are one-of-a-kind and allow you to create your own original item.
