Saruo Falls

Saruo Falls was named after the resemblance of the waterfall to a monkey's tail. The waterfall is formed in two stages. The upper waterfall (Male Waterfall) is a rough, masculine waterfall that flows down the rugged rock surface, while the lower waterfall (Female Waterfall) is a graceful, feminine waterfall where water slides down the cracks in the rocks. You can enjoy the different atmosphere of the waterfall in each season: the fresh green leaves in spring, the cool waterfall in summer, the contrast between the fiery autumn leaves and the white waterfall in autumn, and the inaccessible ice wall waterfall in winter. In addition, the natural stone Buddha in the middle of the upper waterfall looks like a monk being hit by the waterfall, making you feel the mystery of natural formations. The rocks visible in the waterfall can be seen as Kannon, Buddha, Mary statues, etc., making it a power spot known only to those in the know.
